Megayacht On Foreclosure Auction Block
April 17, 2013Foreclosure auctions are often on courthouse steps, but this one will be held in a harbor. “Triton,” a 163-foot foot megayacht has all the toys: helipad, country kitchen, elevator, quarters for 14 guests and 10 crew, two 1000 hp diesels, and a range of 6,100 nautical miles. It also has a $21m unpaid mortgage. The San Diego sale is scheduled for April 26, “as is and where is” to the highest bidder.

To captain this particular ship, Bertoia expects you’ll have to pay $200,000-$250,000.
