In the online bidding that ends next month, they’re hoping for a heist of $20,000.
Jesse, the son of a preacher from Lickskillet, Ky., was engaged to Zee for 9-years. They met when she nursed him back to health from Civil War wounds. She was also his first cousin and denied to her death that her husband—bushwacked in his living room by a new gang member—was anything but a “good and kind man.”At the time of the shooting she was in the adjoining kitchen but didn’t pull the pistol on the cowardly assassin who ran away.
