On the block will be Lafite and Lataour and Romanee-Conti and dozens of other chateaux and private cellars. They’re hoping the 1300 lots add up to $5 million when it’s over.
Hart Davis Hart hosts soirees and sales on a regular basis, but at this sale they’re offeering $1 million worth of Chateau Lafite, alone. There will also be fine wines from the Rhone, as well as rare burgundies and bordeaux. The wine will be there, the question is, will the money be there as well?
